The Arizona had just returned from fleet maneuvers and was anchored in line with the other battleships along the shores of Ford Island. Most of the crew was having breakfast. Cannon fire and the sound of bombs broke the silence, and as the sailors rushed to the deck they realized that their ship was under fire. In a terribly terrible moment, the Arizona was hit on the port side by a torpedo, "amidships" by a large bomb, and on the forecastle by an armor-piercing bomb. 1,100 sailors lost their lives. To commemorate the men of the Arizona, a simple plaque was placed above the ship and a flagpole was erected.

Twelve elevated, approx. 36 cm cannons in four rotating turrets

Complete light armament: with 13 cm and 3 cm AA weapons and 27 cm turret cannon

Finely designed planking and panel details

Complete deck equipment: including searchlights, motor launches and whaleboats, rangefinders, ladders, cranes and tripod masts with crow's nests

Two catapults with 0 2U biplanes from Vought

Decals for the ship and seaplanes

 Fully colored flag cloth

 Display stand

Detailed structures

Scope of delivery:

Plastic model kit (not assembled)

Construction instructions

Decals
